Hi, i'm Jess!

Hi, and welcome to my photography website. I am currently a Senior at Kansas State University studying Fine Art Photography. I fell in love with photography in my Junior year of high school, working in the darkroom and on the yearbook staff as a photographer. This is where I developed a deep appreciation for capturing moments exactly as they happened in real life. 

As I started my college career and learned more about photography from a fine art perspective, I began to play around with the medium more. Ultimately, my favorite approach is documentary. When working with clients, I do offer pose ideas as needed, but prefer to capture candid moments that show the real you. 

I'm still exploring this medium, so my website features client work alongside my own explorations. I’m an aspiring wedding photographer, so if you're a couple in need of portraits, please reach out! As someone new to this field, your support means a lot to me. 

Taking photos brings me so much joy, and I think it would be a shame not to use my passions to create art for others to enjoy and connect with. Art is so important to me, and I couldn't imagine pursuing anything else.
