Hi I’m jess!
I am currently a student at Kansas State University studying Fine Arts with a focus on photography. My photographic style is documentary with a touch of editorial. My work is driven by a desire to use my passion to serve and celebrate and serve others. I value authenticity and candid moments in my work. Taking photos brings me so much joy, and I want to share that with my clients by creating images of those special moments honestly and truthfully. At the end of the day, I am just a very sentimental person, and I express that through taking pictures of almost everything. I am the right photographer for you if you want photos that feel just like how the moment happened in real life, but also at the same time like the photo is straight out of a movie.

I take this scripture to heart while making photographs because I believe that when you genuinely love what you are doing, that shines through in your work. I think having intention behind the work you are creating is very important. When photographing the big milestones in your life, I intend to capture them with love and care. It would be an honor to work with you to create images that feel real, that you can cherish for decades to come.
What to expect
Before the session:
I will reach out to you to discuss the direction you had in mind for your session with me. We will collaborate on location, outfits, and the overall vibe for your shoot. Pinterest boards are very helpful!
During our session:
Expect a relaxed and playful session that focuses on capturing authenticity and candid moments. I will occasionally offer up pose ideas when needed, otherwise I like to go with the flow allowing for moments to unfold naturally.
After our session:
A google drive containing jpegs of your photos will be sent to you 2-3 weeks after your session. I will send all photos at 72 dpi (for web) in one drive and then all photos at 300 dpi (for printing).
